“As a parent of an aspiring actor, it can be a struggle to find quality programs that challenge young actors to strive to their full potential. Stages is just that and more. During the summer program, Katie was given an opportunity to grow in her talent while having fun. Your staff is incredibly professional, talented and qualified. You give individual attention to each camper making them feel like they are a star no matter what role they get in the production. She learned something new in all areas of performing arts, including choreography, vocal, drama, and improv. She has made friends from all areas of the

“My son Dylan, attended last year's camp. He not only learned a great deal about creating live theater, he also gained self esteem, a work ethic and an understanding about working within a group. “I’ve been a Stages supporter for many years. My oldest daughter started out in Stages to learn about musical theater in a small, nurturing environment. But now both my daughters beg me to enroll them each year and I now consider this camp a second family. My kids learn about exploring self-awareness, creativity without limits, team building and personal accomplishment – but it is so much more that words cannot do it justice. Every year my girls end up in tears when camp is over because they can’t wait until the next summer. I’m so committed to this nonprofit camp that when asked, I gladly joined the Board of Directors.”

“I’ve tried other theater programs & summer camps in the area, but STAGES is the one where I’ve really learned the most. Was it fun? Uh, yeah! But I also learned solid stuff like comedic timing on stage, and how to fake fight in a scene! Oh, my favorite part of camp was TOTES about putting everything together…the dancing & singing…and we even got to help with props & sets. It was like we were all a big family.”
